12/28/2022 0 Comments Where is traxxas serial numberThis is the indication you are dangerously close to harming your battery. If you keep going, you will hit the second stage, which disables the motor altogether, and the LED on the speed control will slowly blink red. This is when you should stop using the vehicle. The first stage will reduce power to approximately 50% of normal - enough you should notice it. When in LiPo Mode, the speed control has a two-stage cutoff. This is toggled back-and-forth using the method described in the video to the right. On Traxxas speed controls, they refer it as LiPo Mode when the low-voltage cutoff is enabled, and NiMH Mode when it is not. LiPo batteries cannot be completely discharged, as this will permanently damage the battery, and so a low-voltage cutoff needs to be enabled on the ESC to prevent the vehicle from draining the battery too far. More race-ish I suppose. One key difference between NiMHs and LiPos is how the electronic speed control ( ESC) on your vehicle needs to be set up. If you ever get ahold of an original manual, it will give you instructions on how to cut it. Reason your bumper looks different is because the one in the pic is cut down. I only remembered them being offered as replacement parts later on, but could be wrong. Actually, I don't recall ever seeing a Blue Eagle with black plastics. The black plastics came later on with the Traxxas line-up. Only real difference is the LS has the older 4620 ball diff and the SRT uses the 2520 pro-diff. Always been a big fan of your projects and cars, and speaking of cars how many traxxas vintage vehicles do you have? I have yet to find an email address that works on the traxxas online community so you can find me here. Then use a countersunk drill bit for the bottom of the chassis to give it a flush look.Īnyways harry good to finally get in touch with you. I might very carefully drill holes for the servo. Refer to my picture to see what I am talking about. Then all I need to do is print the image out on decal paper and just like that I could have homemade LS decals. I was thinking about cropping an image from this box and posting it in paint shop. Is the LS I have box stock? It looks a little different then the LS in the box art photo? The one with the brown and yellow body has more black parts and a different front bumper. It looks like it uses the same transmission gears as the SRT is this correct? Hopefully Gixer jay the owner of the truck does not mind if I use his picture. I posted the LS pics in the forum for reference. As mentioned before I think it was only run a couple of times then went into hibernation for a few years. With the one picture he provided I had no idea how the condition of the truck was. Ya this was the truck that was for sale last week.
